C.J. Ilert

Hola mi gente! My name is Carlos J. Ilert, but everyone calls me CJ! I have been a trainer at On the Move since 2023 and have a true passion for helping individuals! My job is to help get you where you want to go, where you used to be and/or inform you on how to perform at a high-level for either health benefits or performance success. My background is in helping outpatients from physical therapy, athletes looking to build strength, power and coordination while maintaining all of it in their athletic career as well as those who want to lose weight. My goal is to help create a non-toxic relationship with exercise all while trying to achieve your goals! Finishing with an Associates at HVCC and a Bachelors in Exercise Science at Russell Sage University, I have seen a lot from how to help with injuries to assisting with further progress in conjunction with local PT’s to ensure return to play for athletes, exercise for adults recommended by physicians and much more!

Mike Verschelden

Hi, I am Coach Mike! I am the lead trainer and founder of On the Move Fitness. I started OTM with a coaching first mentality: serve my clients to the best of my ability. We guide people from where they currently are, to where they want to go. In 2016, I began coaching full-time. Since I have trained in commercial, corporate and now private (boutique style) fitness facilities. My mission: create an environment where people can make real, sustainable change and have fun while doing so. The fitness community saved my life. Exercise became my anchor, my North Star aligning who I wanted to become, compared to who I was. I show people how to develop a resiliency through the mind and body, you cannot have one without the other. On my off hours, I am golfing, in a coffee shop, or eating a distinctive dish of food with good company. “You are 100% who you believe yourself to be.” I have a B.S. in Kinesiology, am a Certified Personal Trainer, and Pain-Free Performance Coach.
